  • 4 Hamburger Buns

  • 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

  • 1 tsp. Thyme

  • Salt and Pepper To taste

  • For the Hot Mayo
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp. Hot Sauce (like sriracha, or adjust to taste)

Directions

  • Marinate Portobello Mushrooms:
  • Whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and Pepper in a bowl.
  • Place the mushroom caps in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Prepare Hot Mayo:
  • Mix mayonnaise and hot Sauce. Adjust the amount of hot Sauce to your preference.
  • Roast Tomatoes:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the tomatoes and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and Pepper.
  • Roast for 15-20 minutes until they are slightly charred and tender.
  • Cook Bacon:
  • In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
  • Grill Marinated Mushrooms:
  • Grill the marinated mushrooms over medium-high heat until tender and charred, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Prepare Patties:
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions.
  • Form each into a patty about ¾ inch thick.
