Where to buy HexClad comes down to a short list. HexClad's own support page on where to purchase names its authorized channels: the HexClad website, the HexClad store on Amazon, Costco warehouses during special events and roadshows, the wedding registries Zola and The Knot, and TikTok Shop. That list matters more than any sale banner, because HexClad's lifetime warranty only applies to products bought new from HexClad or one of those authorized sellers in the United States. A pan from a marketplace seller or a resale listing may be perfectly real and still come with no HexClad warranty at all.
This guide sits with our kitchen gear guides. If you are still deciding whether to buy, start with HexClad cookware reviews, and read Gordon Ramsay cookware for how HexClad compares with the licensed Hell's Kitchen pans.
| Where to buy | Official or third-party | What is stocked | Returns and warranty |
|---|---|---|---|
| HexClad.com | Official: HexClad's own store | The full range: single pans, pots, woks, sets, knives and accessories | 30-day money-back guarantee with proof of purchase (you pay return shipping); lifetime warranty on cookware |
| HexClad store on Amazon | Authorized, when the seller is HexClad | Single pans, frying pan sets, pot sets and full cookware sets | Amazon's return terms; the listing says the lifetime warranty covers products sold by HexClad |
| Costco warehouses | Authorized during special events and roadshows | Sets and bundles brought in for the event; costco.com has also listed pieces by special order | Costco's satisfaction guarantee on returns; HexClad warranty applies |
| Zola and The Knot | Authorized wedding registries | HexClad pieces added to a gift registry | Warranty goes to the gift's original recipient |
| TikTok Shop | Authorized | Whatever HexClad lists in its shop there | Covered when bought new from HexClad's shop |
| Walmart.com | Not on HexClad's authorized list | Pans, sets and knives sold by Walmart or by marketplace sellers | The seller's return terms; HexClad warranty not assured |
| Resale sites and unknown web stores | Not authorized | Used, open-box or steeply discounted sets | No HexClad warranty; the highest risk of fakes and scams |
Read the table from the top down: the first five rows carry HexClad's warranty, the last two leave you relying on whoever sold you the pan.
Where Is HexClad Sold?
HexClad is sold mostly direct, through its own website and its own Amazon store, with Costco as the one place you can buy it in person. That is the full authorized list on HexClad's support page, plus the two registries and TikTok Shop. Outside the United States, HexClad runs its own regional stores (HexClad.ca, HexClad.co.uk, HexClad.com.au, HexClad.eu, HexClad.mx, HexClad.jp and HexClad.ae), so a buyer in Canada or the UK should start with the local site rather than a US listing.
HexClad.com carries every piece and every set, and it is where you register the warranty after you buy. Its refund policy gives you 30 days to return a purchase for your money back, with a receipt or proof of purchase, and you pay the return shipping. HexClad also price matches its own site for 14 days after you buy, and it says plainly that it does not price match third-party sellers or other retailers.

Can You Buy HexClad in Stores?
You can buy HexClad in a store only at Costco, and only while a HexClad special event or roadshow is running at your warehouse. HexClad lists no retail shops of its own, and its authorized list names no department store or kitchen shop. Costco keeps a HexClad special events schedule: set your home warehouse on the page to see when the roadshow is booked near you, since it moves from warehouse to warehouse.
Buying HexClad at Costco
Buying HexClad at Costco gets you two layers of cover: HexClad counts Costco warehouses as an authorized seller, so the lifetime warranty applies, and Costco's own return policy sits on top of it. Costco's online store has also listed HexClad pieces, such as a HexClad 14-inch hybrid pan with lid by special order, and Costco says orders from costco.com can be returned at any of its more than 800 warehouses. Roadshow stock is usually sets and bundles chosen for the event, so check the exact pieces against HexClad.com if you are after one particular pan.
Buying HexClad on Amazon

HexClad
HexClad 12-Inch Hybrid Nonstick Frying Pan
- Stainless steel and ceramic nonstick hybrid surface, built to sear hard and release easily
- Tri-ply with an aluminum core for quick, even heat; works on induction
- Oven safe to 900°F and metal-utensil safe (lid not included)
Amazon is an authorized place to buy HexClad as long as HexClad is the seller. Its official storefront sells under the name Hexclad Hybrid Cookware, and the 12-inch pan's Amazon listing says that HexClad products sold by HexClad are backed by the lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. Amazon listings can also carry offers from outside sellers, and in October 2026 a couple of HexClad listings, including the 12-inch pan with a lid and a pot set, showed a third-party seller in the main buy box instead of HexClad. Check the "Sold by" line before you add a pan to the cart; if it is not HexClad, pick HexClad's offer from the other sellers on the listing.
The 12-inch pan is the one most cooks reach for first: it takes four chicken thighs or two steaks without crowding. HexClad lists it as tri-ply with an aluminum core, oven safe to 900°F, induction ready and metal-utensil safe, and it is sold without a lid.
Is HexClad at Walmart Legit?
Walmart.com does list HexClad, but Walmart is not one of the sellers HexClad names, so a Walmart purchase may not carry the lifetime warranty. The HexClad page on Walmart.com mixes items sold by Walmart with items from marketplace sellers, and the seller changes from listing to listing. The pans may be genuine. The catch is the paperwork: HexClad's warranty terms cover only products bought new from HexClad or its authorized sellers, and the warranty is void for anything that did not come through those channels. If you buy at Walmart anyway, you are relying on Walmart's or the marketplace seller's return policy instead.
The same goes for any store or site that is not on HexClad's list, including Target and Williams Sonoma. Neither appears among HexClad's authorized sellers, so ask who supplied the stock and whether HexClad will honor the warranty before you pay.
How to Avoid Fake HexClad and Scam Sales
The safest way to avoid a fake HexClad pan is to buy only from the authorized list, because the riskiest offers live off it: unknown web stores, resale listings and social media ads promising giveaways. The Federal Trade Commission's advice on buying from an online marketplace warns that an expensive item listed for a very low price might be fake, and that you should check the seller's contact details and return policy first. U.S. Customs and Border Protection notes that counterfeits are made with substandard materials and do not last, which matters on a pan you heat every day.
HexClad's name also turns up in subscription scams. A BBB Scam Tracker report describes an ad offering "free" Gordon Ramsay HexClad cookware for the price of shipping that then billed recurring monthly charges. Before you buy:
- Check that the web address is a real HexClad domain, Amazon, costco.com, Zola, The Knot or TikTok Shop.
- On Amazon, confirm the seller is HexClad.
- Skip any offer that is free except for shipping, or that needs card details to "claim" a pan.
- Keep the receipt: the warranty needs proof of purchase.
- Pay by credit card: the FTC points out that federal law protects you from paying for things you ordered but never got.
HexClad Warranty and Returns: What Each Seller Covers
The HexClad lifetime warranty covers cookware against manufacturer's defects for the original buyer, or the original recipient of a gift, with proof of purchase. It does not transfer, so a secondhand pan has no warranty even when it is genuine. HexClad's warranty page also lists what it will not cover: damage from excessive heat, abuse, neglect, improper storage, sharp utensils, improper cleaning or seasoning, and any restaurant or commercial use. Cosmetic marks that build up with use count as normal wear. When a claim is approved HexClad replaces the product, though you may have to pay to ship the old one back.
Two steps keep you covered. Register the purchase through HexClad's warranty form once the pans arrive, and keep the receipt or order email in one place. Returns depend on the seller: 30 days from HexClad.com, Costco's policy for Costco purchases, and Amazon's terms for orders on Amazon.
What You Are Buying: How the HexClad Surface Works
HexClad's cooking surface is a laser-etched grid of raised stainless-steel hexagons with a ceramic nonstick coating, which HexClad calls TerraBond, set in the valleys between them, all on a tri-ply body with an aluminum core. Aluminum conducts heat more than ten times faster than stainless steel, so the core spreads the burner's heat across the base, and HexClad's care guide says medium heat on its pans cooks like medium-high on other cookware. Start lower than you are used to.

The steel peaks are what touch the food and brown it. Browning (the Maillard reaction) starts around 284°F, while water cannot rise above 212°F, so a wet chicken thigh or a crowded pan steams instead of searing. Pat the food dry and leave space between the pieces.
The pan still wants fat and a proper preheat. Proteins in eggs, fish and lean meat bond to bare steel before their surface sets, and the steel peaks are bare steel. A thin film of oil fills the gap between food and metal, and a fully preheated pan sets the outer layer of protein quickly so it lets go. HexClad's first-use seasoning is a teaspoon of vegetable oil spread over the inside on medium-low heat for 2 to 3 minutes, and the pan keeps seasoning itself from cooking fats over the first few weeks. You do not need to season it before every use. Our guide to why eggs stick to a HexClad pan covers the fixes when something does grab.
Heat has limits too. The pans are rated oven safe to 900°F and the tempered glass lids to 400°F, but the warranty excludes damage from excessive heat, and HexClad advises low to medium heat on the stove because high heat builds up a layer of burnt residue. Hand washing keeps the steel bright; HexClad says the dishwasher is allowed but can dull the finish over time.
Which HexClad to Buy First
If you are buying one HexClad pan, buy the 12-inch from HexClad.com, HexClad's Amazon store or a Costco roadshow. If you want a starter set, the 6-piece frying pan set gives you 8, 10 and 12-inch pans with lids, enough for eggs, a weeknight sauté and a family-size sear.

Where is HexClad sold in stores?
