Haley Moss went home on Hell's Kitchen Season 25 Episode 7, eliminated after the Red Team's fish station fell apart during a high-stakes black-tie dinner service. The episode, titled "A Black Tie Affair," centered on a gala challenge marking the show's 25th season, judged by former champions Rock Harper (Season 3) and Kyle Timpson (Season 23), which the Blue Team won with two of the three dishes picked for the gala menu. Here is the full recap of the November 5, 2026 episode: the challenge, the service, the nomination, the standout dish, and where the two teams stand now.

Who Went Home on Hell's Kitchen Season 25 Episode 7?

Haley Moss was eliminated, the fourth Red Team chef sent home this season and the sixth chef out overall, finishing 13th. Per Moviedelic's episode 7 recap, the Red Team's fish station fell apart during the black-tie gala dinner: Haley sent scallops for one guest when the ticket called for two, and Sandra Leclerc's sea bass came back undercooked twice. Ramsay sent both of them to the dorm and put Georgiana Pahon on fish to finish the night. Haley and Sandra were the nominees. Sandra said she had been watching both sides of the station and got no answer when she talked to Haley; Haley said she had gotten too far into her own head. Ramsay sent Haley home, saying she got flustered and wasn't ready to be his head chef.

Ramsay's verdict, per the Hell's Kitchen wiki: "Tonight, Haley lost her way on the fish station, and found her way home." On her way out, Haley said, "I've learned so much from Chef Ramsay, I could never thank him enough for giving me this great opportunity."

The Challenge: A 25th-Season Black-Tie Gala

The Blue Team won the gala challenge. Each team split its chefs into appetizer, fish and meat pairs with 45 minutes to cook, and former champions Rock Harper (Season 3) and Kyle Timpson (Season 23) picked one dish in each category for the 25th-season gala menu; the team with the most dishes picked won. Per Moviedelic, Nadia Philips' crab cakes beat Haley's and Jonny G's scallops and Gabe Cerease's tuna tartare for the appetizer, which put the Red Team on the board. The Blue Team took the other two: Valentín Royo's Chilean sea bass won fish over Mya Gonsalves' sea bass and the monkfish from Sandra Leclerc and Dylan Duffy, and Miles Anderson's marinated ribeye won meat over ribeyes from Georgiana Pahon and Mike Catuosco and Miguel Soliz's pork chop.

The Blue Team's reward was a cruise down the Mystic River with dinner on board. The Red Team's punishment was prepping the caviar service and helping the florist arrange the gala room, though Mya Gonsalves used her punishment pass to swap places with Miguel Soliz and join the cruise.

Dinner Service: The Fish Station Falls Apart

That night's service was the gala itself, with real guests in the dining room: members of the Connecticut state legislature, local press, Hell's Kitchen alumni, and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Council, including its chairman Rodney Butler. The Blue Team kept food moving to the Tribal Council's table despite friction between Jonny G and Miguel Soliz, and got through the night with nobody sent off. The Red Team stalled on fish: Haley's single portion of scallops on a two-person ticket set Ramsay off, Sandra's sea bass went back for a refire and then came back underdone again, and the alumni who ordered the sea bass sat waiting while the rest of their table ate.

Ramsay pulled the team into the back, sent Haley and Sandra to the dorm, and moved Georgiana Pahon onto fish. Georgiana, Mya Gonsalves and Nadia Philips finished the service, but the fish station had already cost the Red Team the night.

Where the Teams Stand

12 chefs remain after Episode 7, out of the original 18-chef all-under-25 cast. Haley's exit left the Red Team two chefs short, five to seven, so Ramsay ended the night by moving Mike Catuosco from Blue to Red. The teams are now tied at six apiece.

This Week's Standout Dish: Crab Cake Appetizer

Nadia Philips' crab cakes won the gala menu's appetizer spot over three other starters, the Red Team's one win of the day. A good crab cake holds together without turning into a dense patty by using the least filler possible, just enough egg and breadcrumb to bind the lumps of crab, then a hot pan and a few minutes a side so the outside browns before the inside overcooks. Cook the Episode 7 Dishes at Home

We don't have an exact match for Valentín's winning seared sea bass yet, so consider it a companion-recipe candidate; in the meantime, our pan-roasted halibut is a great home version of a simple seared whitefish, and pan-fried red snapper covers the same technique on another flaky fillet. For Miles' winning ribeye, bone-in ribeye is the cut, with the sear and rest done right. For more, see the best Hell's Kitchen recipes.
