Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken (for patties)
  • 8 strips Bacon
  • 4 slices White Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 tbs. Tomato-Bacon Jam (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 leaves Butter Lettuce
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • Salt and Pepper To taste
  • Oil For grilling

For the Hot Mayo

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbs. Hot Sauce (like sriracha, adjust to taste)

For the Tangy Hellfire Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbs. Hot Sauce (your choice for extra heat)
  • 1 tbs. Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbs. Honey (optional, for balance)

Instructions

Prepare Hot Mayo and Hellfire Sauce:

  • For the hot mayo, mix mayonnaise and hot Sauce. Adjust the amount of hot Sauce to your liking.
  • Combine mayonnaise, hot Sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and honey in a bowl for the hellfire sauce. Mix well and set aside.

Cook Bacon:

  • In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels to drain.

Prepare Chicken Patties:

  • Divide the ground chicken into 4 equal portions.
  • Form each into a patty about ¾ inch thick.
  • Season both sides with salt and Pepper.

Grill Chicken Patties:

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Lightly oil the grill grates or pan.
  • Grill the chicken patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until fully cooked.

Cheese Topping:

  • When the patties are nearly done, top each with a slice of white cheddar cheese. Allow it to melt slightly.

Prepare Buns:

  • Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a skillet.

Assemble Burgers:

  • Spread hot mayo on the bottom buns.
  • Place a butter lettuce leaf on each bottom bun, followed by the cheese-topped chicken patty.
  • Add two strips of bacon on each patty.
  • Spoon a tablespoon of tomato-bacon jam over the bacon.
  • Drizzle with the tangy hellfire sauce.
  • Cap with the top bun.

Serve:

  • Serve your Hellfire Chicken Burgers immediately, ideally with a side like coleslaw, fries, or a crisp salad.

Notes

Lightly brush the burger buns with butter and toast them on the grill just before serving to achieve a golden-brown crust while keeping the inside soft and warm.
